Society, in general, has become aware of the positive relationships of physical activity and physical education to health and learning through the reporting of numerous research findings. This module identifies a variety of ways to integrate physical activity throughout the day: before, during, and after school. Educators are provided with suggestions on how to connect the Common Core State Standards, California Health Education Content Standards, and California Model Physical Education Content Standards, K-12, using physical activity.
